Scream Hello

scream hello was the newest band to put a record out on devildance. in 2003, ex-give me danger! bassist pete velenzia approached me with a proposition to put out his new project. i liked pete's taste in music and his ethics, and i knew one of the guitar players in the band, and he and i shared pretty much the same exact musical tastes... (which was basically anything that came out on the dischord label). when i finally heard it i was amazed. scream hello were a really different band for new brunswick... there was definite pop sensibility, and it was soaked with the late 90s braid esque punk sound that i was in love with. so it was... the scream hello s/t 7". they are a band with more than enough original songwriting to seperate them from the pack. scream hello just recently released an e.p. for red leader records with some one their most incredible songwriting to date. i highly reccomend checking them out.
