sink or swim. the record that shook the hearts of the known punk rock universe from new brunswick, new jersey to beyond the high seas. it’s a good look, an even more beautiful story. sink or swim. a perfect alma mater from the band that almost never happened. i love that. get in the van and just let faith drive... and don’t ask where she’s going. sink or swim. in all fairness... these are not new songs, but rather a retrospective look at three songs that would eventually be re-worked and become the foundation for the debut XOXO records breakout album sink or swim. a prologue to a fruitful punk rock episode. i’ve always thought these tracks captured an innocence about the band. a hunger... and it’s so pretty. for anyone who loves the gaslight anthem... this is where it all started
